& Conditions
All
seating is General Admission. Payment
is required at the time of purchase. We accept
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Checks and Cash.
All
tickets are held at the Box Office and may be picked-up
the evening of the performance. If you would
like your tickets mailed to you in advance, please include
a mailing fee of $3 per order.
All
ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
If you are unable to use purchased tickets, we are
happy to exchange your tickets for a different
performance of the same play for which the tickets
were purchased, depending on availability. We do not
issue refunds for unused tickets.
The
management reserves the right to revoke the license
granted by a ticket, by refunding the purchase
price. User of the ticket assumes all risks of
personal injuries and property damage or loss.
Children
under three years of age are admitted for
free, but do require a ticket. Complimentary
tickets for very young children will be issued
at the Forest Meadows Box Office only, no more than
one hour prior to the performance. Children are
the responsibility of their parents or guardians. Children
behaving in any way that may be disruptive to the
enjoyment of other patrons will be asked to leave
the seating area of the theatre for the duration
of the performance.
Returned
tickets may qualify as a tax-deductible donation
if received prior to the performance.
Weather: Performances are not canceled before the scheduled
curtain time. Should a performance be canceled
before intermission because of weather, your
tickets stub may be exchanged at the Box Office for
a rain check to another performance of the same
play. You must be present to receive a rain check.
Rain checks are not refundable for cash or credit.
Please
refrain from bringing cameras and recording equipment
or electronic transmitting devices of any
kind into the theatre, as they are not allowed under
our agreement with the professional actors' union
(AEA). Any such equipment may be confiscated
for the duration of the performance. Marin Shakespeare Company
reserves the right to permanently confiscate any film
from any such devices that are used at Forest
Meadows in disregard of this rule.
Please
turn off pagers, cell phones and watch alarms
prior to entering the facility.
Smoking: The
Forest Meadows Amphitheatre is a non-smoking
facility.
Pet Policy: All service animals are, of course, welcome at all times. Other pets are welcome in the Amphitheatre area with the following restrictions: if any audience member complains about the pet for any reason, it will have to be removed immediately; if the pet makes any noise before or during the performance, it will have to be removed immediately
Privacy: We
collect the following required information from people
who purchase tickets or request information: name,
addess, and email (if applicable). Subscribers can
elect to share or not share this information for the
opt-in email service described below.
Marin Shakespeare does not disclose, sell, rent or
otherwise provide any of the above member information
to third parties unless required to by law or as part
of any legal proceeding.
Marin Shakespeare uses the above information to contact
members about season performances, educational offerings
or billing questions;subscriber surveys via email
invitations sent to members’ email addresses
via online survey companies under strict confidentiality
and privacy of data provisions; and to improve the
overall level and quality of service that Marin Shakespeare
provides.
Our Opt-In Email Subscription - What We Collect
and How We Use It
Through a third party service under contract to www.marinShakespeare.org,
we maintain an email subscription list on an opt-in
basis. Through this service we collect the following
required personal information: name and email address.
We also collect the following optional information
if provided: phone, fax and company.
Opt-in subscribers may opt out, or update their subscription
status and personal information, by following instructions
on any subscription correspondence that they receive
and choose what, if any, categories of email they
receive from www.marinShakespeare.org.
The third party email service company, must maintain
the information in a confidential manner and not disclose,
sell, rent or otherwise provide any of the information
to other third parties unless required to by law or
as part of any legal proceeding. The third party company
can use the above personal subscription information
for their own marketing studies, provided that such
data is only used in an aggregated, not-personally-identifiable
and not-client-identifiable form.
Use of Cookies and IP Addresses
The www.marinShakespeare.org shopping cart web site
uses cookies, which are small files placed on the
users’ computers by users’ browsers. These
cookies are necessary to complete the secure socket
transaction that allows online ticket sales.
The shopping cart service also collects IP addresses
of visitors to its web site to help track individual
visitors to its site and to help identify and resolve
any possible malicious use of its site.
Credit Card Data
Please refrain from sending credit card data via e-mail, as it is insecure. Please use our secure online shopping cart, or other options such as mail, fax, or in-person purchases.
